Corn Quickies

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 (14 oz) box Corn Chex
  • Add-in ideas: shredded coconut, Golden Grahms, slivered almonds, craisins, salted peanuts, cashews, M&M’s (just sprinkle on top so they don’t melt), etc.

Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. Set aside. In large bowl mix together Corn Chex and any desired add-ins. Bring sugar, corn syrup and butter to boil. Continue to boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour over Corn Chex mixture. Gently stir until evenly distributed. Spread onto prepared cookie sheet. Let cool just until soft. Store in a tightly sealed container or resealable bags.
