Rice Pilaf

  • 2 cups rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 cubes chicken bullion
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 1 Tbsp dried parsley

In saucepan, combine all ingredients. Heat to slow boil, reduce heat to low. Simmer 20 minutes for white rice or 45 minutes for brown rice. Fluff with fork and serve.

Variations: Add a can of mushrooms, chopped broccoli, mixed veggies or other things that sound good. Beef bullion may also be substituted for chicken bullion.
